VAT
VAT
There are three ways of operating VAT, the most common being Quarterly accounting for VAT on sales and expenditure. Then there is the Flat Rate scheme, whereby a percentage agreed with Customs & Excise is charged on all sales including current rate of V A T, and finally the Annual scheme whereby a return is made once a year, but a fixed monthly payments must be made and adjusted at the year end. We would firstly analyse which of these options suited the client best. We will advise clients of the Registration Thresholds for VAT, where the client is below the threshold, we will discuss with them whether it would be in their financial interest for them to register.

Unlike some accountancy firms we agree our fees at the outset of being appointed, based on the information and requirements of the client. Any variation to this will be dependant only if there is any substantial changes, these will be agreed with the client prior to completing additional work. At the end of each year there will not be any hidden charges added to our fees.

We do offer the option to pay fees by monthly Standing Order if requested.
